These days, it seems like everyone’s firing up a business. Whether it’s a side hustle or a full-blown dedicated operation, more and more entrepreneurs are raising their hand to let the world know it’s their turn to succeed. And we’re all for it. Taking control of financial well-being, setting your own schedule, and engaging in something you feel truly passionate about are all reasons to say sayonara to your nine-to-five and dive into something a little more fulfilling. But to us, there’s a difference between an entrepreneur and an icon.

An icon is someone who’s passion reaches beyond just their business. It goes without saying, they’re dedicated to business growth and making change within their industry. But an icon infuses that same ambition, drive, and dedication into every aspect of their life. They know that their business thrives when they’re feeling their best, so they take care of their health and well-being by staying up to date on the latest fitness and nutrition science that’ll give them that extra edge. They value their relationships, whether that be at home or with friends, or as leaders of their teams in their businesses, and they’re constantly looking for ways to be a better communicator, to learn to listen deeper, to be more empathetic. Icons invest in their mindset–they work to build resilience, cultivate mindfulness, and they never stop learning. These are the aspects of an entrepreneur who’s living an iconic lifestyle. A true icon.

Which is why we set out searching for icons across the country. We wanted to find the best and brightest–those who are leading their industry into new territory while they show up as their highest selves in their personal lives. Those who are living what it means to be an icon. The search wasn’t easy–there are so many talented entrepreneurs out there who are making their marks–but we’ve narrowed it down to the following top ten. Make sure you keep these icons on your radar–it won’t be the last time you’re seeing them.

I strive to connect to the people that resonate with what I am doing. When I connect with my clients beyond fitness, I get into the special sauce of their training, because for me and my business, it has always been about more than a kettlebell. I’ve been sober-curious for over a decade and when I started my journey it was challenging to find good non-alcoholic (NA) drinks, so I resorted to sparkling waters for several years. As time passed, the quality of NAs significantly improved, but finding these drinks was never easy and I found myself driving all across the city in search of certain products. With Bevvy’s, my mission is to curate and showcase high-quality products, and provide a customer-focused in-store experience where people can learn about non-alcoholic drinks and how they can be as complex and sophisticated as their alcoholic counterparts.”

So many women grapple with similar issues, but feel isolated or ashamed to discuss them openly due to fear of judgment or stigma.
