Melissa Paige, a 42-year-old fitness model, speaker, and host of the podcast “Getting Soul Fit,” has found strength through recovery. Battling alcoholism and substance abuse, she experienced the devastating consequences of her addiction, including the loss of friends and financial hardships. On December 31, 2010, she reached a turning point when she realized that her unhealthy coping mechanisms were no longer working. She decided to seek help, marking the start of her recovery journey, which began on January 1, 2011.

Since then, Melissa’s life in recovery has brought both beautiful and challenging moments. She lives what she calls a “fuck yes” life, which means not settling for mistreatment or allowing boundaries to be broken, whether from herself or anyone else. Melissa advocates self-care, including fitness, breathwork, and meditation, as vital components of personal growth and happiness.

Moreover, her passion lies in helping others thrive by transforming their pain into passion, assisting individuals dealing with addiction, overcoming trauma, or breaking toxic cycles. Melissa is on a path to become a therapist to further support those seeking to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Her motto is, “If it’s not a ‘fuck yes,’ it’s a no,” and she applies this principle to relationships, jobs, and personal growth, prioritizing self-improvement and helping others do the same.
