What's in our WFH snack drawer
Number 5 gets us through meetings that should have been emails.

Every WFH desk is loaded with the essentials: too many of your favorite pen (in case they stop making them, obv), your daily agenda to keep you on track, and a well-curated stock of snacks. Whether you’re spending too many hours at your desk and aren’t stopping to take meal breaks (we’ll get on you about that later), you have a very specific 3 p.m. pick-me-up protocol, or part of your anti-stress regime is keeping your blood sugar stable, there’s no denying that snacking is maybe the best activity that’s in your workday. Snack connoisseurs ourselves, we thought you might like a peek at what we’re munching on lately.

Humble Potato Chips in Creamy Dill fulfill our summer backyard BBQ dreams–without leaving the office. These light-as-air organic chips pack a great crunch that’s super satisfying. With an ingredient list that won’t make your eyes bug out of your head, these 250-calories-per-serving (and only 1g of sugar) babies are also organic. Bonus: the bag is compostable.

GFB features a ton of flavors, but we’re loving Dark Chocolate and Peanut Butter at the moment. These gluten-free energy balls are poppable, chewy, and feature just the right amount of sweetness–think of them as a totally upgraded version of a peanut butter cup. Plus, at 6g of fat and 5g of protein per serving, they’ll keep you satiated while doing your body some good.

Okay call us bougie, but we’re loving Healthy Crunch Matcha Moringa Latte Coconut Chips–it’s like we’re casually strolling from our Pilates class to the organic juice bar and we needed a cozy little beverage to deliver us there safely. But in all seriousness, these coconut chips have a solid ingredient list made up of real health-promoting foods–there’s zero weird stuff in there. We like these on their own, or added to yogurt with fruit and nuts for a complete snack. Go healthy fats!

We might catch some heat for this one–we say, bring it! We’re never abandoning our love for the humble rice cake. These ones from Lundberg are our go-to because they’re made from organic brown rice and can hold up to any toppers we pile on ’em. And that’s the real secret here: let your rice cake imagination run wild and stack as much as you can on these bad boys. Our current fave combo is hummus, avocado, provolone, a hard-boiled egg, and a sprinkle of sea salt. Delish!

We save this one for when emotional emergency back-up is required–Raaka’s Vanilla Waffle Cone can solve just about anything. Y’know when you get to the end of your ice cream cone and you’re left with that delectably sweet waffle-y crunch? It’s like that. The waffle is gluten-free and all of the brand’s cacao is sourced transparently–this one features Ugandan dark chocolate. At just 14g of carbs and 8g of sugar, this is a comforting and nostalgic treat that doesn’t leave us with a sugar crash.

We know we’re not alone in having the experience of getting off the phone with a client and immediately thinking “I need a drink.” While it’s probably 5 o’clock somewhere, instead, we reach for Clever Mocktails–we’re very into the Moscow Mule flavor right now. These non-alcoholic beverages are infused with botanicals such as ginger and juniper berries and are only 80 calories per can. Refreshingly spicy and totally allowed in the workplace.
